Celine Dion & Clive Griffin "When I Fall In Love"(The Colour of My Love 1993)

"When I Fall in Love" is a popular song, written by Victor Young (music) and Edward Heyman (lyrics). It was introduced in the film "One Minute to Zero". Jeri Southern sang on the first recording released in April 1952 with the song's composer, Victor Young, handling the arranging and conducting duties. The song has become a standard, with many artists recording it, though the first hit version was sung by Doris Day released in July 1952.

The version by Celine Dion and Clive Griffin was featured in the romantic comedy "Sleepless in Seattle" and released as a single in July 1993 becoming one of the most acclaimed. The song was recorded expressly for the soundtrack and was originally intended as a duet between Dion and Clive Griffin . It was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal in 1994, and won a Grammy Award for Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalists. 

The award went to David Foster and Jeremy Lubbock. The song appears on both, the Sleepless in Seattle soundtrack (number 1 on the Billboard 200 and 4x platinum RIAA certification for selling over 4 million copies in the U.S.), and later on Dion's album "The Colour of My Love", released in November 1993.

The music video was directed by Dominic Orlando in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

"When I Fall in Love" reached top 40 in a few countries, including number 22 in New Zealand, number 23 in the United States, and number 37 in the Netherlands. It was popular on the U.S. Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks, peaking at number 6.

"That's the Way It Is" music video, directed by Liz Friedlander. It was shot in Los Angeles, California and completed on October 17, 1999. It premiered on VH1 on November 8, 1999. It was nominated for the MuchMusic Video Award. The video was included on Dion's All the Way... A Decade of Song & Video DVD.

The song became a hit, going to number 1 on the adult contemporary charts in the United States and Canada, and reaching top 10 all over the world. It was Dion's first airplay-only single that charted on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 6 (number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay). The commercial single was released nine months later as a double A-side with "I Want You to Need Me," reaching number 62 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales.

14 is a magic number.
“I grew up the youngest of 14 kids in a tight-knit family, and all that love gave me a real self-confidence. The values instilled in me by my family made me a balanced person.”
Success doesn’t just happen.
“It takes discipline, work, having the right people around you and, of course, lots of luck.”
You need to be surrounded by people who speak the truth.
“René [Angélil], my husband, has always made sure I am working with people who are unafraid to critique me while emphasizing my strongest attributes.”
Being a mother is the ultimate motivator.
“I strive to be the best mom in the world. I’ve given a lot, professionally speaking, but with my three children I feel like I’m receiving. It’s happiness unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. My little boy Nelson (who recently turned one) just started saying ‘Maman,’ and it’s so touching. They are tiny, they trust me, they rely on me, they’re completely dependent. It’s a beautiful gift.”
Men can change diapers.
“Diapers don’t sit dirty for long — we both take care of that!”
I want to star in a movie.
“The missing link in my career is being in a movie. Someday I want to land a leading role on the big screen.”
