Celine Dion for V Magazine Behind the Scenes

Go behind the scenes at Celine Dion's epic V photoshoot in this video featuring the superstar with Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele and Sebastian Faena at her Florida home...with a special surprise song at the end!
Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele transforms the icon, Celine Dion, to show her in a way you've never seen her before!

Celine Dion for New Issue V Magazine

Celine opens up her heart and goes on about Adele, Whiney Houston, motherhood and her man in an interview and photoshoot in V Magazine

Celine Dion has got it bad for Adele.
The stunning Canadian songstress calls the Grammy-winning singer "a total package" in an interview for V Magazine's upcoming Travel issue.
"I think that her whole image is very good!" the 44-year-old star said. "The way that she is will definitely help the new generation of girls accept themselves."

Fortunately Celine has a solid marriage to help her stay away from some of the disasterous choices made by others in the music business. And now she has a family. ‘I thought I had a life before, but until I was a mom, I had no idea. I'm more grounded now than ever before,’ she told V Magazine.

Dion sang the British chart-topper's praises during a chic black and white photoshoot at her Florida home - her first non-promotional magazine shoot in nearly six years.
The "My Heart Will Go On" singer said that Adele has the potential to bring change to an industry that she's always been wary of - a feeling that's increased in the wake of fellow pop legend Whitney Houston's death.
"I have always been scared of the industry," Dion said. "I was just in shock when Whitney's life had been taken because of drugs. It's a big loss for all of us."

Celine confesses to V Magazine, ‘I have always been scared of the industry.’ The toll the business — especially its often-related lifestyle choices — has taken on other singers is not lost on her. Says the Canadian diva, ‘I was just in shock when Whitney's life had been taken because of drugs. It's a big loss for all of us.’

But the star says she won't let her concerns stop her from taking the stage.
"I was brought into this world to do this, no doubt," she said, though acknowledging that she's taken on a much more important endeavor in recent years - motherhood.
"I thought I had a life before, but until I was a mom, I had no idea. I'm more grounded now than ever before," she said.

Despite the risks and rigors of a performer’s life, Celine tells V Magazine she never had another choice. ‘I was brought into this world to do this, no doubt.’

The confidence she's gained from being a mother shows.
"I've been an open book all my life, and I think that's why people like me," Dion said. "I've been criticized for it, but I'm not forcing myself to be the person that you see."

Celine Dion’s intimate revelations about her love match with hubby, Rene, and a surprising girl crush on Adele

International superstar Celine Dion has opened up about her original skepticism of ever coming to Las Vegas with her show and how her children have brought a balance to her life she never expected.
It’s all part of a candid interview that will run next month in our sister Vegas magazine, and we have an advance preview.
The Canadian songbird talks to the glossy publication about her show in Las Vegas and what it is about her that captivates the world. She also opens up about life as a mom and admits her girl crush — Adele!
On the initial skepticism of her plan to bring her show to Las Vegas over a decade ago:
“When we came here the first time, the vibes were negative — ‘Oh my God, the Titanic is coming and its going to sink’...But a lot of people were willing to bet a lot of money on me and to take a chance. Is there any better place to take a chance than Vegas?”
On what it is about her voice that captivates a good portion of the globe:
“It’s not the voice, and I don’t think it’s the songs. I don’t think it’s the presence. But it could be the stability of my life. The craziest thing I’ve done is cut my hair blonde and short a couple of years ago. And people reached out to me saying, ‘Celine, you’re one of the most stable things we have in our lives, don’t do that. We want you the way you are.’”
On her morning routine when she isn’t on stage belting out romantic songs:
She sleeps late, “usually until 10...and I go in my closet and have my coffee. I wake up and help feed my 23-month-old twins, Eddy and Nelson, and soon I’m covered in yogurt, strawberries, cereal, you name it.”
On her crush on Adele:
“I love literally everything about her. I love her extreme talent. I love her writing. Her songs come from the soul. She’s incredibly beautiful. And I think it’s very refreshing to see, and don’t get me wrong when I say this, somebody who is not looking extremely anorexic. It’s going to be bad when I meet her. I’m going to give her the biggest hug. I’m not kidding.”
On balance in her life:
“My kids give me the balance to live right. The hardest thing to find in life is balance — especially the more success you have, the more you look to the other side of the gate. What do I need to stay grounded, in touch, in love, connected, emotionally balanced? Look within yourself. I think I am the luckiest woman. I have a wonderful husband. I have three amazing kids. What am I looking for? I’m passionate about my fans and my shows. But my biggest reward in the success that is my life are my husband and kids.”

Celine Dion: The Queen of Las Vegas

Here's an image you don’t conjure up every day: Celine Dion in a pair of pajamas, covered with baby food. It’s quite a contrast for the glamorous siren who storms the Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace in all manner of glittering gowns. And yet, loafing around her expansive desert home in PJs is precisely what makes the globally successful Canadian singer happiest.
“I wake up and help feed my 23-month-old twins, Eddy and Nelson, and soon I’m covered in yogurt, strawberries, cereal, you name it,” Dion, 44, says with a laugh. Although she confesses to having a weakness for great fashion designers, “I don’t think fashion would mean anything if I didn’t have happiness in my life. The kids set the mood for me.”
Dion knows all about setting a mood. Her otherworldly voice, which has spurred the sale of more than 200 million albums in both English and her native French, has the power to conjure images with emotion, much as she did with “My Heart Will Go On,” the theme track to James Cameron’s blockbuster Titanic. The song, which monopolized radios around the world when the film debuted, is the grand finale in Dion’s most recent Las Vegas show, Celine, which will return to the Colosseum next year after the fall release of her album "Water and a Flame".
Of course the songstress is idolized around the globe, but she is especially revered locally because of her enormous impact on the entertainment climate of the Strip. Her 717 performances of "A New Day" at the Colosseum between 2003 and 2007 entertained nearly 3 million people and grossed roughly $400 million. More importantly though, the lucrative run re-popularized the Las Vegas “residency” as a desirable way for top artists to essentially tour in place, letting their fans come to them. Elton John, Bette Midler, Rod Stewart, and Cher have followed in Dion’s colossal wake.

Celine Dion - With This Tear (Live Tonight Show 1993)

In 1993, Celine appeared on the Tonight Show, hosted by Jay Leno, where she performed “With This Tear”, written by none other than Prince.
This song can be found on Celine's second English language album, simply titled 'Celine Dion .'

With this tear
I thee want
I long 4 u 2 talk 2 me like u did
That night in the restaurant

U spoke of love so openly
And again and again u promised me
That u'd never leave
But now u're gone

With this voice
I thee call
Sometimes I catch myself
Calling your name
When u're not there at all

Please tell me what I did wrong
Why must I hear your voice inside my head
All day and all night long
It's not fair

(Bridge) (Ad-libs)

With these arms
I held u
When u told me u were dying
I had less courage it's true
And u wrote every day
Writing 'bout the things
That we could do
When your pain went away

But all that went away was u
With this tear
I thee want
I long 4 u 2 talk 2 me like u did
That night in the restaurant

With this tear
I thee want
I thee want
I thee want
I thee want

With this tear
I thee want
I long 4 u 2 talk 2 me like u did
That night in the restaurant

U spoke of love so openly
And again and again u promised me
That u'd never leave
But now you're gone

With this tear

Celine Dion "A Song For You"( Live on Oprah Show 2010 (Taking Chances 2007)

Song For You
I couldn't live
I couldn't live without your love
For one kiss
I would give everything up
There's no words that can describe
What I feel deep inside
So I'll let this song say all
Then I hope you'll understand
Once you've listened till the end
Heard the music in my head
So before I could forget
I start singin' yes I was singin'
This song for you
Just made up the words
Na na na na oh oh oh yeah
My heart wrote the melody
I am singin' this song for you

Celine's Acting Debut

Celine makes a surprise appearance at the end of the movie 'Marsupilami', released in 2012. Do you know when Celine made her acting debut?

Celine Dion "Et je t'aime encore" (Live French version (A New Day ....Live in Las Vegas 2003)

"Et je t'aime encore" (meaning "And I Love You Still") is the second single from Celine Dion's album 1 fille & 4 types. It was released on February 23, 2004 in Francophone countries. The song was included in the French CD Single of "I Drove All Night". An English version of this song was released earlier on the "One Heart" album.

On October 1, 2003 Dion taped the 1 fille & 4 types TV special at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where she performed this song among others.
The song reached top 20 in the Francophone countries, including number 14 in Belgium Wallonia and number 16 in France. It was also very popular in Quebec, peaking at number 2.

"Et je t'aime encore" was performed during the A New Day... show, from November 2003 till mid-2004, and included on the A New Day... Live in Las Vegas album.
It was also featured on Dion's greatest hits compilation "On ne change pas" in 2005

J'aimerais vivre à Rome oh j'aimerais bien

Et ça me dévore
Et tout le reste m'est égal

De plus en plus fort
A chaque souffle à chaque pas
Et je t'aime encore
Et toi tu ne m'entends pas

Summary : two new albums Celine and promo

Celine new all-in-French album, “Sans attendre”, will be released on November 5th, preceding the English album “Water and a Flame” due on November 12th.
According to her manager and husband René Angelil, the new English album will be promoted pretty soon thanks to a first single to be sent to international radios by mid-September. “Water and a Flame” will contain several tracks penned by Francis Eg White, Stevie Wonder, Babyface and even Ne-Yo, as well as no less than 6 covers she usually performs at the Las Vegas’ Caesar Palace.
As for the French album “Sans attendre”, Céline Dion teamed up with famous lyricists and composers Jacques Vénéruso, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Maxime Leforestier and Luc Plamondon. The first single sent to the radios is entitled “Parler à mon père”, a tribute song to Céline’s father who passed away in 2003.Céline Dion will stop her Las Vegas show for a few weeks during autumn to promote her 2 new albums. She is due to come to France to record special TV shows but there is no world tour announced so far. However, the diva might give exceptional concerts in Paris before the end of year or in 2013.
