Celine Dion's birthday cake crafted by Welsh chef Graham Tinsley
Superstar Celine Dion will be celebrating her 46th birthday this weekend with a cake made by Welsh chef Graham Tinsley. The chef, who manages the globetrotting Welsh National Culinary Team, was asked to create the cake during an engagement-packed, 10-day visit to Canada.
During the trip, Mr Tinsley gave presenter Danielle McGimsie from the Canadian entertainment show Etalk a masterclass on creating the roses for the cake for a programme which will be broadcast on March 30 to correspond with Ms Dion’s birthday.

On this day in 1998, at the 70th Annual Academy Awards, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, Celine won an Oscar in the category Better original song. She sang the winning song "My Heart Will Go On". "When I sang the song My Heart Will Go On, the Titanic song at the 70th Annual Academy Awards on March 23, 1998, I had a big heart necklace and by singing with emotion, I got so upset, I knocked the heart and it almost fell. I thought, if the heart falls to the ground, any fool could jump on it. I hurt myself because it was rather big, full of diamonds (14 millions) and I hoped that it was not broken, I had to go on singing my song, and fortunately the heart remained hanging!" - Celine Dion
On March 23, 2002, Celine Dion took part in the show "Wetten Dass ?", hosted by Thomas Gottschalks and broadcasted live on ZDF from Munich, Germany. Celine also shot a special commercial so as to better promote her new album "A New Day Has Come" in Germany .
