Those selected for the new artist and venue sale ticket opportunity can expect to receive an email from their point of registration with purchase instructions the day prior to the sale. Pre-registration and invitation to these sales do not guarantee tickets.

Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Keith Urban & More to Honour John Farnham at Tribute Concert This Year.

Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman and Keith Urban are just a few names that will perform at a tribute concert honouring Australian music legend, John Farnham, this year

The Songs of John Farnham: A Living Legend will go ahead on September 20th at Rod Laver Arena, with funds raised from the concert to go towards Head and Neck Cancer Australia, which supported Farnham during his own battle in recent years.

Other names expected to perform, reportedly personally invited by Farnham, include Jimmy Barnes, Tina Arena, Richard Marx, Human Nature and Jessica Mauboy.

The show will officially be announced at the venue later this morning by Paul Dainty. Tickets go on sale from 10am on Tuesday, June 2nd.

“I’ve been incredibly lucky to spend my life doing what I love, and even luckier to have Australians embrace my music the way they have,” Farnham said.

“This (tribute concert) isn’t about me — it’s about giving something back and supporting a cause that means a great deal to me.

“The fact that so many extraordinary artists from around the world have so generously agreed to be part of this night is incredibly humbling and says far more about the spirit behind this event than it does about me. I hope everyone has a great night.”

Céline Dion Family TV Series In The Works

EXCLUSIVE: A TV drama chronicling the early life of Céline Dion and family is in the works.

Growing Up Dion [working title] marks the first time the “My Heart Will Go On” singer’s family has formally supported a dramatized adaptation of her childhood, with her brother Jacques Dion producing and the show based on Dion, A Family Saga, written by her nephew Jimmy Dion.

Zoë Green (Sirens, Carnival Row) is showrunning the project, which traces Dion’s childhood in Quebec and formative years growing up in a modest, music-filled household, where her bond with her mother Thérèse and close-knit dynamic of 14 sibling relationships shaped her path to global superstardom. The project, which comes from LA’s Diamant Rouge Entertainment, is being taken out now to international buyers.

Jacques Dion said: “This series represents something deeply meaningful for our family, as it captures the spirit, struggles, and love that defined our upbringing. We are proud to finally share this story with the world in a way that feels true to who we are.”

Casting is to come and thoughts will naturally turn to who will portray Dion. She was previously played by Valérie Lemercier in 2021 musical comedy-drama Aline and Christine Ghawi in 2008’s Céline. She has also been portrayed by the Tony-nominated Marla Mindelle in Broadway jukebox musical Titanique, a Titanic parody which retells the movie’s events from Dion’s perspective.

NEW FRENCH TRACK WRITTEN BY JEAN-JACQUES GOLDMAN OUT TODAY

Today, global icon Celine Dion releases “Dansons,” her first original song in several years. The track, written by renowned songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman, is available now. 

Marking a creative reunion, “Dansons” finds Celine returning to the French repertoire that shaped the early years of her extraordinary career. Jean-Jacques and Celine have collaborated many times, most notably on the album D’eux, Celine’s wildly successful 1995 album and the best-selling French-language album of all time for which Jean-Jacques was the primary writer. Most recently, the duo worked together on the 2016 song “Encore un soir.”

“Dansons” blends the elegance, optimism, and emotional depth that are hallmarks of both Celine and Jean-Jacques, along with fierce defiance in the face of instability and the joy of connection through music.

The release of “Dansons” arrives as Celine prepares for her recently announced and long-awaited return to the stage — an exceptional five-week residency at Paris La Défense Arena, with sixteen performances scheduled between September and October 2026 – concerts that mark the beginning of a new chapter.

Due to overwhelming demand, SIX additional dates have been added to Celine Dion’s return to stage, CELINE DION PARIS 2026 – a landmark five-week limited engagement at the renowned Paris La Défense Arena. The highly anticipated series of dates now include shows on September 18, September 25, October 2, October 9, October 16 and October 17. 

Artist pre-sale runs today, Tuesday, April 7, through Thursday, April 9 at 11:59 CEST and will include access to the newly added dates. The artist pre-sale is open to pre-registered fans selected to participate through the Fair AXS registration platform that closed last week. For additional information on details of the artist pre-sale visit celinedion.com.  

Fans not selected for the artist pre-sale will be added to the waiting list or have another opportunity to purchase advance tickets during the Visa cardholder pre-sale.
