Celine Dion Press Conference United Arab Emirates March 3,2008

On March 3, 2008, Celine Dion gave a press conference in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, during the "Taking Chances Tour". The press conference was held at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Four Seasons Golf Club. During the conference, Celine said: "We are ready to see Dubai. All of us have heard such wonderful things about the city and when we landed it was dark and quite foggy. My son tried desperately to search for the hotel in the middle of the ocean and I told him that mother nature had asked us to wait until tomorrow! We do plan to see the sights during our three-day stay and wish we could stay longer". She also said she loves cooking and she would especially love to learn more Middle Eastern cuisine for her family. At the conference, Bahram Sepahi, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Dubai, presented an honorary lifetime family golf membership of Four Seasons Golf Club to Celine, her husband René Angélil, and their 7-year-old son Rene Charles.

Celine Dion & Tony Bennett "If I Ruled The World" (Duets: An American Classic 2006)

Tony  Bennett, with Celine Dion, returned to the song on his Grammy-winning 2006 album Duets: An American Classic.

The album was released in conjunction with Bennett's 80th birthday the previous month. The songs selected were mostly ones that Bennett had played a major role in introducing into the Great American Songbook.

Unlike some other celebrity duets efforts where performances were recorded separately and then combined by producers, such as Frank Sinatra's 1993 Duets, Bennett was physically present with each of his partners during recording. The vocals were performed live as the band was playing.

It debuted at #3 on The Billboard 200 selling around 202,000 copies in its first week.

The Album Won The Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album at 2007.
