On frôlait l'océan
Est-ce que tu te rappelles ?
On partait droit devant
On rêvait

Celine Dion : Jean -Seb Carré Thanks To Fans

Celine's manager Aldo Giampaolo said

Celine's manager Aldo Giampaolo said "First, they have not been dismissed, their contracts ended, and they were not renewed. It enters our new philosophy, that of change. This is the change to cool, it's like giving a new look, a wind. Many people have been laid off over the years. Change is needed, and it is in this change in philosophy that it was done."

------
Aldo Giampaolo, President and CEO of Feeling Productions, would like to confirm that musicians Claude "Mego" Lemay, Yves Frulla, André Coutu and Jean-Seb Carré will no longer be part of Celine's band after their contracts expire on March 15, 2015.

"It was a difficult decision to make that I felt was necessary to breathe fresh air into the show," commented Mr Giampaolo. "Celine and Rene join me in thanking them for sharing their immense talent with us over the years and we wish them continued success in their future endeavours."

Mr Giampaolo would like to reassure the public and fans alike that Celine will return to the stage but no dates have been confirmed at this time.

Celine Dion : Claude Lemay (Mégo) Via His Facebook

"It seems that Celine Dion's new administration don't like
the dedicated the work I've done with Celine for over 28 years .
It's with emotion and disbelief that I accept the slam in the face , I just received
by being fired . To finish , I just want to thank René and Celine for 28 years ."
- Claude Lemay (Mégo)

Breaking News !!

It took only 8 minutes to end 12 years of dedication and collaboration. It seems that the new administration of Celine wants a new image for her. ( the reason they gave me!!). I leave with my head up knowing that I always gave the best of me and this is now the end of a long chapter in my carreer as a musician! A big thank you to Céline and René for this beautiful experience. - Jean-Seb Carre

It is rare that I share my feelings on Facebook but I felt that tonight was important as I am seeing too much aches and pains around me. My heart goes out to Celine Dion's finest and dedicated musicians. It is very painful to watch how the new management of Celine is handling her new career. I might be the wife of one of them but I was first a huge fan of this incredible singer and artist and I can attest as a fan that my love and respect for her was not only for her incredible voice but for her loyalty, honesty and family orientated soul. I'm sure I am not the only one feeling that way. It was truly touching and refreshing to see such loyalty in this crazy entertainment business where artificiality and superficiality is prominent. My heart is filled with sadness to see that her new management is taking all that away from her. My love and prayers goes out to all my dearest friends and especially my husband that was just affected by this huge turnover. You all need to leave with your head up and be proud as you are all incredible musicians. Don't let anybody take that away from you or make you believe otherwise! - Sophia Stiperski  - Jean-Seb Carre wife

Several of Céline's long-time band members have been let go, as they are working on a new image for her. What will the future bring? So far only Jean-Seb's departure was confirmed on his Facebook. Other musicians that are mentioned are Andre Coutu Yves Frulla and Claude "Mégo" Lemay but there is no official confirmation from them yet. ‪#‎celinedion‬

Claude "Mégo" Lemay Musical Director Works for Celine Dion since 1987

Claude Lemay (Mégo to his friends) was born into music. From his childhood as a member of Canada’s Petits chanteurs du Mont Royal, Lemay spent his teenage years in bands and later studied music at the Université de Montréal. As a young musician, he worked with Raoûl Duguay, Fabienne Thibault and Richard Séguin. He also worked with Dalida, handling the French music legend’s US and Canadian engagements. Claude achieved widespread recognition during his 14 years as musical director of the Juste pour rire festival.

André Coutu Guitar Works for Celine Dion since 1991

After a four-year run playing guitar on a daily Canadian television show, Coutu became Céline’s guitarist in 1991, making him one of the longest-tenured members of Celine’s band. Since then, he’s toured the world with Céline several times over and recorded with most of Quebec’s top stars. During Celine’s brief retirement, Coutu returned to television to play guitar on Le Grand Blond avec un show sournois from 2000 to 2002 under the musical direction of Claude “Mégo” Lemay. Coutu, who studied guitar at the University of Montreal, also writes music.

A newcomer to Celine’s lineup, Jean-Sébastien arrives with a blossoming solo career as one of Canada’s premier young violinists. Since his album debuted in April 2002, he has played before festival crowds of over 30,000 fans and shot four music videos. Carre formed his first band in ninth grade, and was soon playing in local bars. By the time he was 16, he devoted himself to full-time study, working on voice, violin and jazz. By 1998, at age 21, Carré was touring Québec with Mario Chenart, one of the province’s greatest cabaret singers; a European tour followed. By 2001, Carré had earned a record deal, and the public acclaim that followed eventually landed him a role in Céline’s band for A NEW DAY…  , Taking Chances World Tour , Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival , Show Celine .

Yves Frulla Keyboards Works for Celine Dion since 1994
For Yves Frulla, music has always been a passion. Frulla studied his way to dual career opportunities, completing serious study of the piano and the pharmacy. While completing the pharmacy program at the University of Montreal, Frulla toured with Sass Jordan, building a music career that ultimately led him to Celine Dion’s band. He toured with Céline from 1994 to 2000. During Celine’s temporary retirement of 200-2002, he worked on music for films and television, and continued to perform live. When Celine’s band started getting back together for A NEW DAY…, Frulla knew it was worth the move to Las Vegas.

seront notre vraie richesse
Quand je saurai tout de tes dons
quand je saurai tes faiblesses
Quand l'amour aura d'autres goûts
que la passion, le désir
Je chanterai, je chanterai, je chanterai
je chanterai toujours
Et je t'aimerai, je t'aimerai
je t'aimerai comme au premier jour
Je chanterai, je t'aimerai
