The music video, directed by Yannick Saillet, was shot in May 2003 in the Mojave Desert and released in October 2003. On October 1, 2003 Dion taped the 1 fille & 4 types TV special at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where she performed this song among others.

"Tout l'or des hommes" became a hit spending eight weeks at number 1 on the Quebec Singles Chart and three weeks at the top of the Polish Airplay Chart. It reached the top 10 in the Francophone countries, including number 3 in France where it was certified silver for selling 125,000 copies. "Tout l'or des hommes" became the highest charting French-language single on the Canadian Singles Chart ever, peaking at number 2.

Tout l'or des hommes
J'ai déposé mes armes
A l'entrée de ton coeur
Sans combat
Et j'ai suivi tes charmes
Lentement, en douceur
Quelque part là-bas
Au milieu de tes rêves
Aux creux de ton sommeil
Dans tes nuits
Un jour nouveau se lève
A nul autre pareil
Et tu sais, depuis...

Tout l'or des hommes
Ne vaut plus rien
Si tu es loin de moi
Tout l'amour du monde
Ne me fait rien
Alors surtout, ne change pas

C'est un nouveau voyage
Le destin, le hasard
Peu importe
Qui m'a montré le passage
Qui allait jusqu'à toi
Et tu sais, depuis...

Tout l'or des hommes
Ne vaut plus rien
Si tu es loin de moi
Tout l'amour du monde
Ne me fait rien
Surtout, ne change pas
