After canceling part of her Las Vegas shows, Celine Dion will begin recording two new albums over the next month.
Over the past month, Celine Dion canceled part of her Las Vegas residency at Caesars Palace in response to a virus that weakened and inflamed her vocal cords. At the time, the singer said she had difficulty controlling her voice, but even after resting briefly, her condition did not improve. While put on vocal cord rest since that point, she has been improving and, on Monday, announced her return to the casino and two new albums.
Like other points in Dion’s career, one album will be recorded in English and other in French. Recording is scheduled to start within four weeks, as the singer is predicted to make a full recovery by mid-April.
As doctors have told Dion she can return to singing, her Las Vegas shows.
