“Where Does My Heart Beat Now” was the first single from Celine’s debut English-language album ‘Unison’. The song, which Celine performed for the first time at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989, was Celine's first English-language hit! Now Celine performs “Where Does My Hear Beat Now” at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of her Las Vegas show.

"Where Does My Heart Beat Now" was the most successful single from Unison album and became Dion's first English-language hit. In 2008, it was included on the North American version of My Love: Essential Collection .

The song reached number 4 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and did even better on Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks peaking at number 2. "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" reached also top 10 in Norway and Canada, peaking at numbers 4 and 6 respectively. After being released in the United Kingdom in March 1991, the song peaked at number 81. However, in March 1993 the single reached number 72.
