Céline Dion does not do things halfway. For her first Met Gala, the Canadian music icon decided to wear a hard-core dress by Atelier Versace, complete with a chic headpiece—though both paled in comparison to Dion’s own presence. On the red carpet, she killed it by embracing the moment. “There are no dos or don’ts,” she told Vogue before the event. “The sky’s the limit . . . I just hope I don’t look too much like a groupie because I’m going to be so excited to see everyone!” The first person Dion met? Bella Hadid, who arrived at the same time and engaged in an epic battle of poses.

Inside, Dion used the Metropolitan Museum of Art as the ultimate stage, wandering through galleries and showing off her unbeatable pipes, as seen in the video above.
