One in 3,600 babies born in Canada has cystic fibrosis (CF). There is no cure. However, earlier diagnosis means earlier treatment. Screening newborns for CF saves lives and that’s why it is a standard of care in Canada with the exception of Prince Edward Island and Quebec. Join Celine and raise your voice by signing Cystic Fibrosis Canada’s petition to advocate for cystic fibrosis newborn screening in Prince Edward Island. In Quebec, residents are encouraged to raise their voices by contacting their Member of the National Assembly to explain the importance of early detection and treatment. Together we can make a difference!
