International Day of Charity

The General Assembly of the United Nations designated September 5 as International Day of Charity.As a Goodwill Ambassador for the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations, Celine is committed to help fight world hunger. Celine’s passion for giving back started many years ago. Celine is the National Celebrity Patron for Cystic Fibrosis Canada and has established her own foundation, the Celine Dion Foundation, which supports charitable organizations and medical foundations with a focus on helping sick or underprivileged children.
