Closer Weekly has learned that Celine Dion is about to make a bold move to be able to be a bigger presence in her sons' René-Charles, 17, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 7, lives. An insider reveals to Closer that she's building a new house in Las Vegas' exclusive Summerlin neighborhood.
"Celine wants to be closer to her son's activities. As of now, it takes her an hour to get to René-Charles' hockey games," the insider explains, and this move will shave 45 minutes off her trip.

Her new digs, which could take up to two years to complete and cost an estimated eight figures, will have lots of space for everyone. It promises at least eight bedrooms, an underground garage for up to 20 cars, and separate living quarters for Celine's 90-year-old mother, Thérèse.
The home is also much closer to the area's best private schools, "which she's considering for the younger boys," the insider adds. Celine will continue her residency at Caesars Palace, but her job as a parent is more important to her than ever after losing husband René Angélil to cancer in 2016. "She has a lot of wonderful memories in their old house because that’s where she raised her kids with René. But it’s also the house where she watched her husband deteriorate every day, so it will be good for her to be in some fresh surroundings," the insider tells Closer.
