Madame Tussauds unveils Céline Dion wax figure at Venetian

A new wax figure of international singer and Caesars Palace headliner Celine Dion was unveiled Wednesday night at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at the Venetian, and the Clark County Children’s Choir performed her award-winning “Titanic” song “My Heart Will Go On.” It’s an absolutely amazing likeness of Celine in full vocal throttle -- despite her current throat-infection challenges!
The museum’s general manager, Rosita Chapman, paid tribute to Celine and performed the countdown. Celine’s figure, located in the Viva Vegas room, rocks the stage with microphone in hand surrounded by a custom-designed space duplicating her stage at the Colosseum complete with a baby grand piano.
Her uncanny double is a stunning re-creation of her natural, glowing stage appearance. Her flowing blonde locks contain four colors of real human hair -- each strand was individually inserted -- and her glamorous gams look fabulous.

“Celine Dion is frequently listed on our most requested list,” Rosita said. “We get a lot of requests from people all over the world wanting to see her figure in our attraction. She’s such an iconic figure and as a Las Vegas headliner makes a great addition to our Viva Vegas room.”
Madame Tussauds presented a check for $1,000 to the children’s choir. Thanks to Scott Harrison and Erik Kabik for their photo gallery.
