Following the request of Celine Dion in August and after receiving more than a thousand songs, a jury chaired by Charles Benedict had determined the 25 finalists who were all submitted to a public vote.
After much public consultation, the selected song is entitled “À la plus haute branche” of the Quebec Daniel Picard who wrote lyrics and music.
Fans were loyal to the appointment because they were almost 70 000 to visit the site Céline to vote for their favorite song.
