Céline Dion Debuts “Unfinished Songs” in Toronto International Film Festival’s “Song For Marion”

(Toronto, ON) “Unfinished Songs”, a new song from Céline Dion and songwriter Diane Warren, was written and recorded for the upcoming British film' Song For Marion'. Written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, 'Song For Marion' will be closing the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Saturday, September 15. The song will be included on Céline’s upcoming English-language album, "Water And A Flame", to be released this coming November.

"Song For Marion is a beautiful film,” commented Dion. “It's a story that everyone will relate to. I cried a lot, but I laughed a whole bunch too. I'm very proud to be a small part of it, with the song that Diane Warren wrote, and it's been great working with her again."

Starring Terence Stamp and Vanessa Redgrave, 'Song For Marion' is a comedic drama, about a shy, grumpy pensioner Arthur, who is reluctantly inspired by his beloved wife Marion, to join a highly unconventional local choir. The Weinstein Company film also stars Gemma Arterton and Christopher Eccleston and was produced by Ken Marshall and Philip Moross. Moross, CEO of Cutting Edge (the company responsible for the film’s music supervision), worked very closely with Diane Warren and Sony Music on “Unfinished Songs” the film’s end-credits track.
