Celebrating 20 years of ''D'eux'' : The creation of the album cover and the title

The Album Cover
Monic Richard, photographer: "...this photo was inspired by Celine's short hair and the boyish clothing chosen by her stylist, giving her an androgynous look."

The Title
Celine : "The album was originally going to be entitled "Pour que tu m'aimes encore." The name was good, but it wasn't quite right..."
Valérie Michelin (Head Producer at Sony Music France at the time): "The idea for the title came from a brainstorming session with Virginie Auclair, Creative Director at Columbia."
Celine : "...it was refreshing to have a title that wasn’t one of the songs on the album but represented them nonetheless. The album reflects Jean-Jacques' incredible talent together with what I humbly contributed. He enjoyed writing the songs, and I enjoyed singing them."
